Crossing The Frame

I'm pretty sure its actually the sunniest day of the year thus far right now, hence why i'm sitting in the back garden, basking with the intention of ending the day resembling a young Michael Jackson. Before he sold his soul to Satan, obviously.

I saw some other people have done this, and since i'm lacking any particular creativity today and also can't feel my calves at this moment, i thought why not.

Lyons down in roughly 20 points:
  1. My name is Joseph Rease Lyons II. I was born in Rimini, Italy and my mum and dad are English and American, respectively.
  2. I dropped back a year in 6th form to change my subjects so i am now studying English Literature, Ethics, Philosophy, History and Sociology, and i don't regret it.
  3. I really wish i could sing, its one talent i'm genuinely saddened by at not having.
  4. My dad is perhaps the only person i truly look up to, and i honestly think i'd be lucky to have half of the character, expierience and integrity he has.
  5. I lack any true confidence, despite the apparant arrogance/twat behaviour i've been told i exhibit daily.
  6. Ideally in the future, i'd like to be a writer of some sort. If not, i've no idea what i'd even do.
  7. I have a ecleptic taste in music, with the top played on my music player being Born of Osiris, Bon Iver and Pink Floyd at this present time, though its always changing.
  8. I haven't had a girlfriend in over a year now, a situation which really needs to be rectified.
  9. My vocabulary and general way of speaking apparantly resembles a superhero, a dictionary and an 18th century prospector, in a nutshell.
  10. I'd punch my nan for a can of Dr Pepper right now.
  11. I smoke marijuana, usually instead of drinking these days as i prefer it overall, not to make any form of statement or anything like that.
  12. For about 95% of people, i really couldn't care what is thought of me, another skill i learned from my parents.
  13. I strongly believe in the power of luck, and believe myself to be a lucky man in respect to random events that benefit me, hence my Mr Lucky tattoo and the continuation of the theme in my further tattoos.
  14. I'm a morning person, in the sense that i can get up at 7 on any day and be sound, whereas most friends of mine would die at the thought of getting up before 11am.
  15. No regrets is a key belief of mine, whats the use ey?
  16. I'm too trusting to people i think, not always a bad thing but it has led to a few events that i'd consider the hardest things i've ever had to get over in my life.
  17. I love spicy food.
  18. Olga Kurylenko (from Quantum of Solace), Maria Brink from In This Moment and some girl i saw at a Jimmy Eat World concert are ongoing crushes that will probably never die, aha.
  19. I have several best friends who i'd actually take a bullet for in all honesty, even if they don't realise it.
  20. I've changed recently, in quiet a big way. Whether or not its a good thing i have no idea, but right now i feel i'm being more true to myself than i ever have been, and its a start for me at least.
That was harder than i anticipated, self-analysis is the great weakness in our British modesty, aha.

Peace :] x

General Studies

1.30: What is the author trying to convey through the first two paragraphs..?
  1. How she felt it was inappropriate she was reading that book.
  2. The arousal she felt as a 13 year old girl.
  3. Children should not be allowed to watch 18+ films.
  4. Explosive!
And that was the basic gist of the General Studies, each answer of which was taken pretty much in context from some point in the first half of that exam, especially answers two and four, which i thought was just hilarious oat the time.

You gotta wonder about who rights them questions, either a sheer genius or a certain Mr Reginald Q. Sex Offender, your guess my friends.

The sun is rejoining us again, huzzah! I just need to lose some weight, grow my hair save up £500 for Kavos and i'll be sorted! Maybe. Could happen perhaps? Possibly...? Nah, didn't think so. Curse this addiction to cheap asian hookers and sweet delicious crystal meth. CURSES!

This made my life the other day when i was slightly altered, and cemented into my head by a certain friend o'mine, watch it and enjoy :}

P.S: It was me who wrote in blue ink on the exam by accident, thus having to refill out my multiple choice question sheet and stay behind afterwards, a stroke of genius i know ¬.¬

Perception?

Its the end of bank holiday Mayday, and frankly its been an absolutely fantastic weekend, in the sense of whats been accomplished, set-up and what revelations have come to afront in my mind.

I've come to the decision that i actually know some fantastic people, people who i admire for who and what they are, too many people to list here right now. Others have slipped down a few rungs of the ladder in my head for different reasons. Some people care too much, i've decided. Some people are so caught up about petty things and temporary situations that they can't look past it all and receive any sense of clarity about the situation, and it makes me wonder about people sometimes, genuinely.

I just watched American History X, and that film pretty much reaffirmed what i'd been thinkin about, albeit in a much more abstract way. You get what you give, and you should give what you get. A more pro-active approach to the day to day running of things needs to be taken, and i like to think i've started off something thats going to snowball everything into something great, just in time for the end of exams and the start of summer.

I need a girl, which is just a bellend task of immense difficulty since anyone who i pursue pretty much readys the artillery from the approach but alas, this shall not discourage me. A year single is more than enough, so let's do something about it i guess.

Sorry for the pointless blog, procrastination is about essential to me as the ability to digest these days, aha.
